Forms of Picture Id That Are Easy to Get
Planning to get a valid ID after landing your first job? Confused as to why some valid IDs required another valid ID?
Whatever your reasons are, here's a handy guide on the easiest valid identification cards or IDs to get to jumpstart your adulting requirements.
1. POSTAL ID
The Philippine Postal ID is one of the fastest to get and has the least requirements. With just a birth certificate and a barangay clearance, you'll be good to go. This ID is also widely accepted in banks and e-wallets.
Here are the requirements needed before you head on to the nearest post office:

Two (2) copies of duly-accomplished PID application form which can be downloaded here.

One (1) Proof of Identity such as, Birth Certificate Issued by NSO or Local Civil Registry, GSIS or SSS UMID Card, a valid Driver's License or Passport.

One (1) Proof of Address such as Barangay Certificate of Residency issued within three (3 months) prior to PID application, bank statement, or utility bill (cable, electric, internet, landline, telephone, water)

2. NBI Clearance
The NBI Clearance is usually one of the primary requirements employers ask for before hiring, it's also a must-have when starting a business, or studying abroad. This identification is released to verify that there are no criminal cases against you. You can now apply for it online, making the process quick and easy.
First, you'll need to register to their website here:
Then you'll have to fill up the form with your information and ID details. Here is the list of IDs they accept:

3. SSS ID or UMID
Getting this ID is easy as it now involves an online process! The Social Security System (SSS) is provided by the government for retirement benefits, maternity benefits, and more. SSS benefits also include short-term loans. You can now apply as an SSS member online and get your SSS number almost immediately (Note: this is different from the ID).
UMID stands for Unified Multi-Purpose ID, the single identification card for all members of the Social Security System (SSS), Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF or Pag-IBIG Fund), and Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).
SSS members with at least one (1) posted contribution can subsequently apply for UMID. All you need to do is schedule an appointment online via My.SSS for the biometric data capture and then present your printed SS number application and transaction number slip on the day of your appointment.

4. Passport
Believe it or not, it's easy to get a passport! With a 10-year validity period, it's one of the best IDs to get.
First, head over to www.passport.gov.ph and book an appointment. Then fill up the application form online. You can now gather your requirements before appearing for your passport appointment. Here are the core requirements for adult new applications if this is your first time:
